Campus Student Ambassador Nomination Form

Thank you for considering nominating a student to serve as a Campus Student Ambassador.

Campus Student Ambassadors play an important role in welcoming prospective students and guests to campus. They represent the university with professionalism, enthusiasm, and dependability while helping prospective students and guests feel welcomed and informed throughout their campus visit.

As campus tour guides, ambassadors serve as both knowledgeable resources and enthusiastic storytellers, sharing accurate, honest, and personal insights about the Mines community, academics, student life, and campus experience. They communicate with clarity and confidence, ensuring each group feels informed, comfortable, and connected throughout their visit.

After a nomination is submitted, the student will be contacted by the Visit Programs team within the Admissions Office to schedule an interview and learn more about the Campus Student Ambassador opportunity.

A nomination does not guarantee a position on the Student Ambassador Team. Nominated students must still complete the interview process. Student Ambassador positions are paid, with a starting wage of $15.50 per hour. Ambassadors are expected to work between 1 and 5 hours per week.
